The Evola School of Music offers a wide array of private and group instruction options:
Our highly-skilled teachers have created individual lesson plans designed to fulfill your musical desires. Performance experience is encouraged through special workshops, ensembles, recitals and competitions. Private instruction is available for piano, organ, guitar, violin, voice, and most band instruments. There are many things to do with kids – why not make it fun and educational? Children thrive on music. It’s one of the best vehicles for learning in early childhood development. Kindermusik takes musical learning to the next level; our curriculum is proven to improve a child’s brain development. And for parents, it’s a fun thing to do with kids!

FOUNDATIONS (ages 0-12 mos)
Newborns ages 0-12 months with parent – Our Foundations classes offer a sensory-rich yet caring and gentle environment where infants and young toddlers can explore and react to new sounds, sensations, objects, and movements.
LEVEL ONE (ages 12-24 mos)
Young toddlers ages 12-24 months with parent – Level 1 classes provide toddlers with a stimulating setting to explore their new movement and language skills with a sense of security, comfort, and confidence.
LEVEL TWO (ages 2 & 3)
Older toddlers ages 2 & 3 years with parent – Level 2 classes encourage older toddlers to initiate their own ideas, nurturing social-emotional growth and cognitive development in a playful, exploratory environment.
LEVEL THREE (ages 3 & 4)
Preschoolers ages 3 & 4 years – Level 3 classes are designed to engage preschoolers’ natural love of music and activate their imaginations, while developing their growing language and social-emotional skills.
LEVEL FOUR (ages 4, 5 & 6)
Early elementary students ages 4, 5, & 6 – Level 4 classes offer first experiences with musical symbols and more advanced instruments, laying the groundwork for formal music introduction and ensuring school readiness.
MIXED AGES (all ages)
All children ages birth through six – Mixed-age classes are perfect for families with more than one young child, and accommodate all levels of learning and musical interest.
Playing an instrument is the best investment for your child’s future. Research shows that children who play an instrument do better in school and learn discipline. Playing music relieves stress and gives the student a sense of achievement. Best of all – playing music is fun! Evola’s group classes introduce children to the joys of music making in a comfortable atmosphere with other children their age. Caring, experienced teachers guide your student through carefully planned weekly lessons and age-appropriate lesson books.
ADULT PIANO (ages 17+)
Adult Piano Classes include lesson, theory, technique and additional repertoire. There is a smooth, logical progression between each lesson, a thorough explanation of chord theory and playing styles, and outstanding extra songs, including folk, classical, and contemporary selections. Students will learn to play some of the most popular music ever written and will gain a good understanding of basic musical concepts and styles.
PRESCHOOL BEGINNER PIANO (ages 4-6 with adult)
Recent studies suggest that playing and listening to music at a young age improves learning, memory, reasoning ability, and general creativity. Our classes include a variety of activities chosen from keyboard performance, singing, music appreciation, coloring, movement, listening, rhythm, and written activities. The activities that occur in the lesson are structured to take into consideration the young child’s small hands and limited attention span.
YOUTH BEGINNER PIANO (ages 7-11)
Ages 7-11. An imaginative exploration of the exciting world of piano that perfectly blends music, basic theory, technique, and fun!
Other Music Classes
Research has found that learning music facilitates learning other subjects and enhances skills that we inevitably use in other areas. There are direct correlations between musical training and improved language development, IQ, academic performance, reasoning abilities, creativity, and problem solving. The professional educators at Evola Music are here to help you begin your musical journey in a variety of instruments.
YOUTH BEGINNER VIOLIN (ages 7-11)
This beginning violin class combines the best of Suzuki and traditional teaching methods. Active listening is utilized as students learn by ear and by note reading using familiar melodies. Skills with rhythm and pitch are built through the development of a healthy, body-friendly technique for playing the violin. Children are encouraged to progress at their own pace within the group in a pressure-free environment. Suggestions for joyful music-making at home help them set and achieve goals in learning new skills.
BEGINNER GUITAR (ages 10-12, ages 13+)
You might be the next Guitar Hero! Have fun learning the basics for both acoustic and electric guitar. Fundamentals include building chords and playing the melody. Guitar rentals are available
LEARN TO SING (ages 6-14)
Are you the next “American Idol?” Come and find out. Learn the fundamentals of good vocal technique. This class requires no previous music knowledge.
HARMONICA – PLAY FOR FUN (ages 20+)
Ages 20+. Learn the “ins and outs” of playing the harmonica with our experienced instructor.
Evola Music is proud to represent the Lowrey Magic program and Virtual Orchestra instruments! For the complete novice with no prior music experience or those who learned as a child, anyone can learn to play the Lowrey EZ way!
While you learn, you’ll maintain your health and wellness, enjoy a new hobby, and make new friends. You also will enjoy a variety of concerts and special events throughout the year.
